        Either way. I copy stuff manually, as well as using a free syncing program for large tasks. It also comes with syncing s/w but I have not used it.

        RC, you can do it either way. I have a subscription to Carbonite for my normal scheduled back-ups. I upgraded to include a Mirror Image of my PC for a few dollars more and it can be set at any interval you desire (constant, daily, weekly or monthly.) With the Mirror Image, you are also saving your program files so in case of a hard-disk failure, you don't have to re-install all your programs.

        No, this drive is compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. None of the Toshiba USB 3.0 external hard drives are compatible with USB 1.0.

        Thanks for your question, DJKuulA. No, this is an external hard drive only. This Canvio Connect external hard drive is compatible with Playstation 4 but it is for external, USB connections only. If you connect it to an available USB port on your Playstation 4 you may have to reformat the drive to the FAT 32 file structure in order for it to be compatible with the Playstation 4. If you do have to reformat the drive it will erase the contents from the drive.

A computer operating system, however, reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of 1GB = 230 = 1,073,741,824 bytes and 1TB = 240 = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes, and therefore shows less storage capacity. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and operating system and other factors
